FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to common questions about CoreBridge Technology’s IT support, Microsoft 365 assistance, practical security and technology-planning services.
What organisations does CoreBridge support?
CoreBridge primarily supports primary schools, charities, not-for-profit organisations and small businesses. We may also undertake selected work for nurseries, secondary schools and other educational organisations, depending on the requirements, scope and availability.
What services does CoreBridge provide?
We provide practical IT support, Microsoft 365 administration and security assistance, device planning and technology advice. Support can include remote technical assistance, planned onsite visits, device setup, everyday troubleshooting, account administration, Microsoft 365 reviews and clearly scoped IT projects.
Does CoreBridge specialise in supporting schools?
Primary schools are an important area of focus. CoreBridge was founded by an IT service professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting technology within schools and educational organisations. We apply the same organised, security-conscious and service-led approach when supporting charities and small businesses.
Do you only support schools?
No. CoreBridge also supports charities, not-for-profit organisations and small businesses, including professional-services organisations. We will discuss your requirements during an initial consultation to determine whether they fall within our experience and current service scope.
Do you provide remote and onsite support?
Yes. Support can be provided remotely where appropriate, through planned onsite appointments or as part of an agreed support arrangement. The delivery method will depend on the issue, your location, the agreed scope and availability.
Which areas do you support?
We primarily support organisations across London and surrounding areas. Planned onsite visits are subject to location and availability. Remote assistance for organisations outside London may be considered depending on the nature of the work.
Do you provide Microsoft 365 support?
Yes. We can assist with Microsoft 365 user accounts, licence allocation, business email, shared mailboxes, Microsoft Teams, basic SharePoint and OneDrive support, multifactor authentication and user or administrator access reviews.
Do you provide Microsoft 365 health and security reviews?
Yes. A Microsoft 365 Health and Security Review can examine user and administrator accounts, multifactor authentication, shared mailboxes, licence allocation, email settings and sharing arrangements. The review concludes with practical recommendations based on the agreed scope.
Can you help improve our IT security?
We can assist with practical security improvements such as multifactor authentication, account-access reviews, password-security guidance, administrator-account reviews and phishing-awareness guidance.
Complex cybersecurity investigations, penetration testing, security monitoring and other specialist security work are outside our standard service scope. Where appropriate, we can discuss suitable third-party specialist support.
Can you help with laptops, desktops and other equipment?
Yes. We can assist with laptop and desktop setup, everyday device troubleshooting, equipment records, device inventories, warranty checks, lifecycle planning and practical replacement recommendations.
Any equipment purchasing, installation or configuration requirements will be clearly agreed before work begins.
Can you help with Wi-Fi, printers and connectivity problems?
We can provide basic troubleshooting for Wi-Fi, printers, scanners, internet connectivity and everyday network issues. More complex networking, structured cabling, firewall implementation or infrastructure work may require a specialist provider.
Where necessary, CoreBridge can help explain the issue and coordinate with your broadband provider, equipment supplier or another agreed specialist.
Can you assist with classroom technology?
Yes. Subject to the agreed scope, we can assist primary schools with staff devices, classroom equipment, basic connectivity problems and clearly defined technology projects.
Specialist audiovisual installations, structured cabling and complex infrastructure work may require an appropriately qualified third-party provider.
What happens when specialist expertise is required?
Some projects require specialist expertise outside CoreBridge’s standard service scope. This may include structured cabling, advanced networking, firewall implementation, complex server work and specialist cybersecurity services.
Where appropriate, CoreBridge can help identify suitable options and coordinate with a trusted third-party specialist. Responsibilities, costs and third-party involvement will be explained and agreed in advance.
Do I need a long-term support contract?
No. Depending on your requirements and availability, CoreBridge can provide one-off assistance, clearly scoped projects, technology reviews or an ongoing support arrangement.
The scope, schedule, responsibilities, pricing and support expectations will be agreed before work begins.
Do you provide 24-hour emergency support?
No. CoreBridge does not currently provide 24-hour or seven-day emergency support.
Support for existing customers is delivered according to their agreed support arrangements, operating hours and current availability. Any applicable response expectations will be confirmed as part of the service agreement or project scope.
How quickly will you respond?
We aim to acknowledge general enquiries within one business day.
Technical-support response times depend on the agreed support arrangement, the nature and priority of the issue, operating hours and current availability. A one-business-day acknowledgement does not guarantee that every technical issue will be resolved within that period.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on the work required, the size and complexity of your environment, the delivery method and whether the requirement involves one-off support, a project, a review or an ongoing arrangement.
We will discuss the requirement and confirm the scope, responsibilities and charges before paid work begins.
